Good Friends

As you've probably read, Katie and I are in LA visiting our friends Mine & Colin. I have known Mine since college - we went to NYU together. We were in a lot of the same classes, and had many the late night working away in the computer lab, grabbing pizza at the deli, and deliriously laughing until we cried. After graduation we both worked in New York at consulting firms and even lived together for a few months. We both worked a lot, but we spent most of our free time together. She has been my closest friend for a long time, and some of my favorite memories are of us meeting in Central Park (I lived on the West side, she lived on the East) to just lay around in the sun and drink sangria. When I decided to move back to Omaha, I had the hardest time breaking it to her.

Mine decided to go back to school to persue a PhD, and moved to California to study at UCLA. This is where she met Colin! They live in LA with 3 cats (2 moved from New York with Mine, the other is a brand new kitten they adopted just a few weeks ago).
