Sean & Anna's Wedding!

This weekend was spent celebrating the marriage of our good friends, Sean and Anna. Katie was a bridesmaid in their wedding, so we have been part of the festivities from the beginning. You may remember when we went to Anna's bachelorette party.

On Thursday night, we attended the rehearsal dinner...where I practiced eating. ;)

Aren't they so cute?!

After the dinner, the couple said goodbye until they'd see each other walking down the aisle the next day. :) The girls headed to a nearby bar to grab a nightcap, while the guys headed to the groom's parents' house for cigars.

I was craving white wine so the bartender recommended an interesting white wine cocktail that contained St. Germaine elderflower liqueur. It was...interesting. It tasted kind of like pear, and I liked the fact that it was not too sweet.

Sean's other sister (who isn't yet 21, hence the juice box :) ) and Anna

We wrapped it up early so the bridal party wouldn't be too tired the next day. Sounds like they had a relaxing morning...sipping mimosas while having their hair done and getting ready at the hotel. I finally got to see the girls at the ceremony!

Do you recognize Katie? I barely did!!

The Groomsmen

I do.

It was a little warm! :)

You may kiss the bride!

The new Mr. & Mrs.! Hooray!

After the ceremony, we piled into the Party Bus to celebrate with some brewskis before heading to the reception.

Things got a little rowdy!

Katie got her bow tie!

After stopping for a few pictures, we made our way to the reception. Once there, Katie changed out of her dress and into her suit (with her new bow tie!)

"Prom Pic" :)

I loved their cakes! They are huge Cubs fans, so it was no surprise that the groom's cake was Cubs themed.

Anna incorporated a love bird theme throughout much of the decorations.

So pretty!

No cake smashing - phew!

Then it was dancin' time!

It was a great party - and a wonderful day. Congratulations Sean and Anna!!
