I’m Sick

I'm sick. And angry about it. Not because I'll miss the New Year's Eve festivities, but because I hate being sick. I am a mess.

This is what I looked like last night:

I even caught myself uttering the words, "I wish this blanket had sleeves." And, yes, I'm holding a bottle of booze. We didn't have any cough syrup and I was desperate. Turns out, it works like a charm.

I haven't consumed anything besides Mucinex and Mountain Dew in the past 20 hours. Don't ask me why, I don't usually drink Mountain Dew. But it seems to be helping.

Looks like I'll be bringing in the New Year with Harry, Sally, and shot of Nyquil. Hopefully I leave the cough and fever in 2010.

    I think you’re kinda cute when you’re sick- you get all glassy eyed and want to snuggle :)
    however, you need to eat something. Like now.
