The Fam

So I've been working on a family blog (not yet published), and I got to thinking...I don't think I've introduced you to my whole family!

I came across this picture, which is one of my favorites. It was taken in the Fall of 2009, and it actually has all of us in it! This is rare nowadays, as one of my brothers lives in Virginia and my nephews tend to do anything and everything to get out of photos.

I have 2 brothers, 2 sisters, 3 nephews, 1 brother-in-law, and 1 sister-in-law:

• On the left is my older sister, Jenny, and her family. Jenny is 5 years older than me, but we've always been close. Some of my favorite memories with her are of just driving around and talking late at night. She is married to Todd, and they have 2 boys, Drake (older) and Ethan (younger).
• Next, in the back row, are my parents, Eileen and Joe. They are the greatest parents in the world. I know others claim this, but they are wrong.
• You probably recognize me and Kate in front of my parents.
• My brother, Pat, is next to Kate. And his wife, Erica, is next to him. Pat is nearly 2 years younger than me, and was my biggest adversary growing up. However, we became good friends in high school. Well, the later years of high school...
• Next to Erica is my younger sister, Emily. She is 5 years younger than me and has always claimed to be adopted. I think it's because once we "accidentally" left her at a McDonald's. She is holding her son, Eli, who is now 3 and 1/2.
• And last but not least is the baby of the family, Mike. He is 7 years younger than me to the day. Yep, he was born on my birthday! Apparently I was not very amused by this at the time, but now I think it's pretty cool...I mean, we get 2 cakes!

So, there you have it! I know I've mentioned all of these characters in passing, but now you have (tiny) faces to go with the names.
