A Video…Of Stella!

I got a video camera for Christmas (yay!) and I finally decided to try it out. What better subject than my cute little pup?!

Here Stella is showing off her "leave it" trick. She likes to play fetch with stuffed animals, but I didn't like how it always ended up as a game of tug. Sooner or later I would get scratched, and was afraid she would accidentally hurt my nephews or someone else who tried to play with her. I taught her a way to play where if she brings you a toy, you tell her to "sit", but if her paws are still on it, you tell her to "leave it" until she backs aways from the toy and lets you pick it up. She's caught on very well!
