Comfort Me With Soup & Snuggles
I was hoping to bring you a new recipe tonight, but it was 50F and sunny when I left work so I HAD to go running instead.
It was glorious.
Although canned tomato soup and grilled cheese hardly call for a recipe, I thought I'd at least share some photos. It was tasty, after all!
You know you wanna.
I made my grilled cheese on the George Foreman. It kind of squished the bread, but it was just as melty & delicious.
Comfort food at it's finest. Well, if you exclude mac n cheese, which will always be #1 in my book.
I kept the comfort food flowing into dessert by making a teeny tiny milkshake!
It was "garnished" with a teeny tiny cookie. By the way, these suckers are awesome. We have been plowing through them.
After a bit of a rough day, this meal definitely hit the spot. It may have even induced snuggling.
Yep, that. just. happened.
All better!

I had the same thing for dinner tonight, just at ‘wichcraft on 20th Street. Grilled gruyere with caramelized onions and a delicious tomato soup! Perfect for a rainy and cold night in NYC.
So glad the pups are getting along so well! Cuteness!

Mama feels better now that the older sister realizes it’s not so bad having a baby brother, doesn’t she? (Of course, he wasn’t born on her birthday…)
