Wedding Wednesday – Setting the Date
HOLD UP! Before everyone gets all excited, let me start off by saying that we still do NOT have a wedding date set.
Yet.
However. There has been some discussion about changing our time frame...from next fall to the following spring. We both really like the idea of a fall wedding, but we cannot find a location that we love that is available. And rather than compromise on the location, we're willing to compromise on the date.
It's not like we had a true date set anyway, right?
(Does reading about our wedding planning, or lack there of, drive you crazy?! Bahahahaha!!)
We have an appointment to view our favorite location on Sunday. Hopefully we love it. And hopefully they still have something available next April or May. I'll be bringing my checkbook.
I'm totally ok with waiting until the spring. 6 more months to save, right? Plus there will be more daylight. And now I can run a fall marathon.

um, yes it does drive us crazy. but i like the idea of a spring/summer wedding better. cause really, nobody wants to put on strapless dresses and heels in november in nebraska, and what’s a wedding without strapless dresses and heels?

I think spring is perfect for getting married but I’m maybe a bit biased. We were married in May and it was a stunningly gorgeous day.
