Wedding Wednesday – Online Dress Shopping

Not gonna lie, I completely spaced "Wedding Wednesday" today. But it's only 11:00PM, so there's still time.

I wanted to see if anyone out there has had success ordering a wedding dress online. Did you find something new or used? Was it returnable? What were the shipping costs? Did the online measurements align with what you got?

It might sound unromantic of me, but I'm looking for a good deal. I've been giving it some thought, and I really don't want to spend a lot of money on a wedding dress. I realize each person's price point is different, and what may be "a lot" to one person may not be to another. (Same goes for "a little".) So in more real terms, I'm thinking I'd like to spend $200. Or $100, if I'm lucky.

I'm interested in online shopping because I've found some good deals with little searching. I also like that I can look at my leisure - no appointments necessary. But even though the idea of trying on dresses in the comfort of my own home is appealing, I don't want to rack up $100s in shipping costs to return things or run into unforeseen hassles. I'm open to the idea of purchasing a used dress, but only if I can try it on (or the same dress in a store) or send it back for a refund. If you have any advice for me, please speak up!

By the way, I ordered a dress online earlier this week. It should be arriving soon, so hopefully I'll have a more interesting post about it in the future. Maybe even with pictures.
