The Dilemma

My apologies to Kevin James. I used to say I hated you. Really, I just hated "King of Queens." And the idea of that stupid mall cop movie. You have since surprised me.

You played the least ridiculous character in that horrible movie, "Grown Ups". Honestly, I hope to never have to watch that movie again, but if I do, I'll take all of my bathroom breaks during scenes featuring Rob Schneider and David Spade.

Last night, we watched "The Dilemma". I didn't know anything about it, but it was touted as being "hilarious." I will agree that it was occasionally funny, but it was also kind of stressful. And not great, by any means. However, I think you (Kevin James) did a good job. And the fact that you and Vince Vaughn are such different sizes was fairly amusing on it's own. Seriously, Vince Vaughn is humongous.

In other news, I bought a new camera this weekend. And then I promptly had a little panic attack. (Spending large chunks of money freaks me out.)

Kate talked me down from the ledge, and I reminded myself that it wasn't a crazy/spontaneous purchase. I've been wanting one for awhile, and even set aside the money for it a few months back. Still, it was hard.

When I buy nice things, I have a tendency to stow them away. I worry about damaging them and feel the need to save them for special occasions. I'd rather not be this way, so I've been working through this. I made myself take the camera out of the box, charge it up, and take some pictures. And once I did, I was SO happy with my purchase.

Now I just have to learn how to use it.
