Red, White, and Kablooey!

Full disclosure: I totally stole the title of this post from some friends. They are way more clever than me!

This long weekend is extra fun. Not only are there lots of 4th of July celebrations, but our friends from LA are visiting! We've been drinking beer on the front porch, talking wedding plans, watching fireworks, and just taking it easy. It's been perfect.

We did a little wedding dress shopping and decided that a bird themed wedding would be kind of fun. But we're having a hard time deciding between peacock and Big Bird. (You can't take wedding planning too seriously. Keep it fun!)

This morning we had friends over for a potluck breakfast. It was awesome. We like to refer to it as Breakfast Club.

Tomorrow is the the big BBQ at my parents' house. I hear there is a Tippy Cup rematch in the works. Should be fun!
