Pre-Vacation Spoils

As I mentioned awhile back, I did a little shopping before heading out on vacation...but I never showed you what I got! Here are a few pics from our trip of me wearing some of my new pieces along with the corresponding "inspiration photos."

As inspired by this photo:

I got a sequined tank (Marshall's) and mustard-y/olive-y sweater (on sale at Target.) I think this sweater is my favorite purchase.

(Weird. I did not mean to pose like her...)

Also new in the picture are the wrap bracelet (coupon to ROC) and nail polish (BOGO at Beauty First.), inspired by this and this:

My nail polish is actually a little more brown/less grey, but I really like it. ('Street Chic' by China Glaze)

This outfit kind of inspired the next two looks:

Here I paired a blue blouse (on clearance at Marshall's) with a mustard cardigan (old...from Target years ago.)

And here I paired an olive green dress (on sale at Target) with some brown tights and boots that I already had. I got the gold belt at the Goodwill for $1.

Wine makes a great accessory, don't you think? I ended up topping this outfit with the short-sleeved mustard-y/olive-y sweater in the first picture, which had a nice tone-on-tone effect.

I guess you can't really tell in this photo, but it's my new favorite picture of myself so I'm trying to include it in every post.

There were a few other things that I didn't get photos of (a grey top and sparkly gold clutch from Marshall's, some small gold earrings, a mother of pearl ring, and an 'L' pendant necklace - all on sale at Target, and a black bag from Kohl's), but overall I think all of my purchases were put to good use. I'm excited that they're kind of like a piece of vacation that I get to keep in my closet!
