Hurriedly Catching Up

I did not forget that I have a blog. Ok, maybe a little. But it's more that I have been SO BUSY. Seriously, I've never had such a rockin' social life.

Here's a list of things that probably deserve their own posts, but I've got Christmas cards and packages to mail so...they've been condensed to a list.

• I attended my first Ugly Sweater party this weekend! It was ugly and sweaty, but still a good time.

• Cookiepalooza 2011 is in the books. And I don't want to see another Christmas cookie until next year. However, fudge is still welcome.
• Thanks for another awesome Friendsgiving, Sean and Anna!

• If you like bad movies...like really, really bad movies...you HAVE to check out Thankskilling. It is horribly, horribly  inappropriate, but we laughed our asses off over it! But, seriously, only watch it if you are not easily offended.
• Egg nog with liquor in it is quite effective at getting people drunk. After seeing it in action, I'm so glad that I do not like egg nog. If I did, I may have been tempted to try the shot we invented called "Feliz Navidad", which is, you guessed it!, boozy egg nog + tequila. Gag!

• I cannot wait until Fantasy Football is over. I don't play, but (almost) all of my friends do. Some of which are highly competetive. I know it's all for fun, but I really hate to hear my friends talk smack to one another. And it's kind of annoying that people get so riled up over a game that requires no skill whatsoever (the "Fantasy" part, that is. Obviously football takes much skill.)
• I wrote a blog post about turducken over on the Midtown Crossing blog. I'm only slightly conflicted about it, seeing as how I'm a vegetarian. However, my family is not and they seemed to really enjoy it!

• Happy Birthday Sean!! You're the bees knees. And you make the most awesome A-bro-ham Lincoln!
