Wedding Wednesday – 1 Week Out

I can't believe we're getting married next week!

I'm excited, yes, but I'm a bit overwhelmed. And exhausted. I feel like I've been running 24x7, and every day I feel more tired than the last.

Needless to say, I'm SO excited to leave work tomorrow...it marks the beginning of wedding week! My sisters and I leave early Friday morning to meet Mine in New York for our bachelorette weekend (!!), and then I have all next week off to prepare for the wedding. Yay!!

Let me give you a quick update on what we've been up to:

-We had our (awesome!) couple's shower
-We applied for our wedding license
-I had my hair trial
-Kate got her suit tailored & pressed
-We ordered the cakes
-We ordered boutonnières & corsages for our parents
-We ordered a balloon bouquet
-We booked our day-before and wedding night hotel rooms
-We planned our ceremony & met with our officiant
-We met with our DJs to discuss timeline of events
-I crafted my face off
-My mom & brother priced out food & made a master shopping list as well as food game plan & layout (they're doing so much!)
-We booked the resort portion of our honeymoon

I'd be lying if I said I wasn't stressed. Luckily, I have many people to remind me that the big stuff has been taken care of. All the rest is bonus, so I shouldn't freak out about it. Plus, I have tons of people to help us! Still, I'm anxious to get in that barn next week and start getting it set up. But not until
after our trip to NYC, of course.
